WAR FOR SCARE
Submitted by mattg97 on Wed, 12/02/2009 - 00:40.Many stories have been told about ghosts being spotted over past battlegrounds. One famous story is the ghost world war two bomber of Great Britain. Many years ago, a bomber pilot and his crew were sought out to participate in a bombing run over Berlin, Germany. Their main mission was to create enough damage so allied troops would be able to seize the city without any trouble. On this flight, many planes were shot down due to flak from the ground. Others were destroyed from the enemy‘s machine gun fury. Only the top three bomber planes had made it through.

Death is near
People fear
Life feels like death
Church bells ring
fever stings
Life cut short for many
People don't survive; barely any
Many people leave but we stay
Still cutting grass and sorting hay
Living here is a horror
Some who stay are filled with sorrow
I'm here with my family
Just me and my sister Rosalie
We pray from our hearts
